Connect KD-55XD8599 to HT-CT390 soundbar

I have just purchased Sony Bravia KD-55XD8599 together with Sony HT-CT390 soundbar. I have had difficulty wiring these two together, I can do it with a optical cable but have tried to do it with HDMI ARC without sucess. Can anyone help me?

Hi there

You need to connect a high speed HDMI cable (ensure it meets version 1.4a) from the TVs HDMI4-ARC to the soundbars HDMI Input ARC.

On the TV:

ensure Bravia Sync is enabled in the external inputs settings area.
Set speakers to 'audio system'

On the soundbar

Set the input to TV
