KD-55XD8599 Wired Connection issues

As the title suggests, I am having multiple networking issues when using a wired connection on my new Bravia TV.

1) Google Cast does not work whatsoever on a wired connection. The TV doesn't show up on the list of devices. Cast works perfectly on a wireless connection.

2) I can't connect to any other devices on my home network using a wired connection but again this s fine once a wireless connection is used.

Any fix to these problems or am just going to have to settle for a wireles connection with this TV?

That's not right.

Give it a Factory Reset, and see if this resolves the issue.
