Sonos Surround Sound

Hi everyone,

I'm not that technical and googling this has me completely baffled.

Would a kind soul mind explaining what I need to do to make use of surround sound with my new sonos playbase with two play 1's paired as rear surround speakers.

I have a KD55XD8005 and the surround works on amazon prime, but not on youtube or plex.

The Sonos playbase connects to the tv through optical if that makes a difference?

If anyone can explain this in a simple way I will be very grateful!

I do not have any experience with Sonos, so I can only really point you to the Sonos Community Forums:

Although its most likely that Sonos Surround doesnt support YouTube or Plex for surround sound. But I really dont know.
