Sony KDL55W808C 3D problem

Hi All!

I bought TDG-BT500A glasses to view 3D content. I have KODI, VLC and ARCHOS video players. Downloaded several 3D movies to my NAS, but I can't see them in 3D. However, I can see the 3D content in Youtube (so at least, my glasses are working).

In Settings, I cannot turn on the 3D (the options are grey). When I oprn a video, the system recognises that it's 3D content, but the glasses don't do anything. While playing and pressing the Action Menu button, there is no 3D setting.

What am I doing wrong?

There is no 3D container format available which every device (like your TV) sees as "3D content" as far as I am concerned..

Get the side by side (SBS) version of said movies and you should be able to enable the SBS 3D on your TV.
