TV keeps switching on

I bought a Sony 32WD752SU a couple of weeks ago. I have it attached by an ethernet cable to a new Virgin router and by an HDMI cable to a Sony sound bar. It works well, exept that it switches itself on several times a day - and night. This is inconvenient, particularly in the middle of the night when it makes us think we have burglars! Can anyone suggest why this happens and what I can do to stop it, please?

This sounds really frustrating and you might need to contact Sony Support about this but I will see if I can find some answers for you. Someone else in the community might have an idea in the meantime though.
