KDL-40WD650 failed to startup, LED red blink 4 time

it suddenly happened, and won't recover again. every time turn it on, it will go into the state, RED LED blinks 4 times again and again(interval maybe 3 secs). could anybody know what happens to it? thank you.

Hi @samuel.tang

The red led blinking is not a good sign. It normally indicates a hardware failure requiring a repair which may cost more than a new TV.

If you haven’t already tried it, disconnect from the mains electricity for at least 5 minutes and disconnect everything connected to it.

If all else fails you need to contact Sony UK Support to see what your options are.

I looked this up on the Sony website and it says that the TV requires repair. You can use this link to locate the nearest service centre to you: https://locator.sony/en_GB/servicecenters
