Bravia 3 keeps freezing using ITV X

Hi my new Bravia 3 keeps freezing using ITV X, it's not network speed If I use my Fire stick ITV X is fine, Amazon Prime, Netflix, Disney etc are fine, I have tried going into developer mode and restricting the amount of open programs it makes no difference, clearing the caches also makes no difference.

All the software is upto date.

I had similar problems with my tv and ITVX, thankfully i resolved it.

Please check you only have one itvx installed!, i say this because my software upgrade on my telly had ITVX bundled in the update and i didnt see it at first, so i installed ITVX as usual from the store. when i went to my apps and opened ITVX it either froze or just wouldnt do anything. finally after 2 hours of fiddling around i noticed the bundled version was the one i was opening, i only noticed because the version was a lower number than the one i had installed. So i went to settings / apps, found the bundled one, it wouldnt allow me to uninstall it but it did let me disable it, once i did that i went and opened the version i had installed and it worked perfect. Its worth checking just in case.
