problem with touch while charging the phone

When I run any game or any application, for say notepad ---- try to write on it (using hand). Letters wiggle while writing when the phone is being charged.... And they don't when the charger is disconnected..... If somebody is getting me.. Please please help me!!!!! It interferes while playing games or running an internet browser... Screen is not stable

Yes that happens with mine too,, I cannot unlock the screen pattern while its charging. I bought it a week back.

It could be a firmware issue but also a power supply/socket issue

So you can try, if not already done

- Another wall socket

- Another PSU (if you have it)

- Charge your phone from a PC/Laptop with a USB cable

- Check also if phone overheats a lot (not quite warm) during charging

Anyway I had the same issue with my Xperia L and was solved with last firmware update

Same issue connecting to a computer?

Did you install the last firmware update?

You can load your phone in safe mode and check if issue is the same

Turn off the device.
Press and hold down the power key until the phone vibrates.
Wait until the Xperia™ logotype disappears.
Press and hold the volume down key. The device then restarts in safe mode.
To exit safe mode, restart the device.

I didn't connect it to my lappy bcoz I generally don't have it me all the time.....
I also have the latest software available at the website for me i.e. 15.0.A.2.17
I also ran it in safe mode but the problem still followed......infact I did a factory reset then also the problem is same 😐

I don't know what next should I do to this phone???
Do you have any other possible option? I would be thankful to you if you could help me in this concern 😐

Aah I got that. .
Sorry to disturb you my friend... That was the fault of the adapter of charger... Just I tried a nokia adaptor and it worked perfectly well.. Even I tried the combination of my cable and his adaptor and the work was just fine!!!!!!

Accha tell me one more thing can I get that adapter replaced at the sony center for this issue?!? I had my phone 2 months back. 0:)

You can check warranty policy for your country on sony website (Manual section of Xperia L)
Anyway accessories drop in the box with the phone (like battery, hearphone and power supply) are covered for 6/12 months

you will get replacement of the charger, In India we get 6 months warranty on accessories.

i am using Xperia L since 11.10.13 and i have same problem when charging, it seems problem is in sony charger cuz lots of people having this problem. though i didnt try with other charger yet.

Never expected this from SONY brand.

I have the same problem.

Really seems a hardware problem since it happen when the charger is plugged in.

I tryied with another sony charger (700ma instead of the 800ma of the xperia L) it does less, but still shaking.

sounds a very similar problem with the Xperia mini pro (cicada effect). the power supply was making interference with secondary microphone. (I had that problem too).

I am updating the firmware since i have the phone since 2 hours only! but i really doubt i can solve this issue.

thanks god I can return the phone since is from Amazon.

1:- Change usb cable and te charger blade .( This work for me)

2:- If u saw a notification about device update software then do ur update.

3:- Try to charge ur phone in low power sources like laptop, ups, power bank etc.

4:- If te tips mentioned above doesn't work. Charge ur phone without using !
