Xperia L RAM problem

Hi,

I have bought a new Xperia L but its showing only 778MB RAM instead of the specified 1GB RAM. Please help.......

That is because the rest of the ram is used up by your system..

The ram that is used by system is reserved, so the avaiable memory you get is 778mb, excluding the rest!

I can understand that but its showing RAM Used=398MB and FREE=380Mb which adds up to 778MB which i have mentioned earlier...:smileyplain:

There are 3 parts of RAM use: Used by android system, by other applications and free RAM.

Your mobile has 1024 MB of RAM.

246 MB of them is used for the System (Android OS etc)

So this part is excluded, and it remaind an 778 MB part.

From these 778 MB some (you said 398 MB) are used for other apps that always run in the backround (weather updates, news, maybe some IM, like Hangouts, skype etc).

So your real free ram for use us 380 MB!

I also had the same problem..... but now it's clear about the RAM...
One more thing that my battery life is very worst...it couldn't last even 5 hours when I browsing or playing videos. give some solutions to resolve this.....

total RAM process

Why can't i see my total RAM process?
The total ram of mobile is 1024MB but it shows me only around 831MB. In jb 4.1.2 it shows around 786MB why these difference occurs... How can I see the total process

I'm having problems with video recording in my phone, it only records for just 3,5,6 seconds only and stops after that. What that's mean? Please suggest.

I'm very much dissapointing with the RAM of Xperia L..I have posted here 4 screenshots.The first 3 screenshots shows my system running process which is around 260MB {BUT IT SHOWS 650 MB} out of 1024 MB but it shows me about 650 MBs of RAM have been used.But the actual usage is around 260 MB .Where is the remaining..........760MB.The 4th one shows my system configuration (An Tu Tu)it shows Total RAM 840 out of 1024MB.The link provides u RAM problem discussions.

[usage+free=total]-------------->[260+190=450] but the system comes out of 1GB of RAM
