Is it just the slider for the ring volume that is grayed out or is it the other sliders aswell?</P><P>First of all I would advice that you try to restart your device in <A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/FAQ/How-to-boot-your-phone-into-safe-mode/td-p/348008" target="_self">safe mode</A>&nbsp;in order to see if you can adjust the volume slider there.&nbsp;All apps downloaded from Play Store is deactivated in safe mode and by doing this you can see if there is a downloaded app causing the volume slider to be grayed out.&nbsp;<BR /><BR /></P><P>If the volume slider is grayed out in safe mode I suggest that you try to perform a software repair in your phone using the USB-cable, Xperia Companion and a computer.
