To be honest, I can't remember a single case where someone with a smartphone has been hacked and I have been working with this for 5+ years.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you only download applications from the Google Play store you will be safe in most cases due to Play Protect.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The only way to be sure is to fully reset the device using Xperia Companion and &lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/FAQ/How-to-perform-a-software-repair-with-Xperia-Companion/m-p/1103057" target="_self"&gt;performing a software repair&lt;/A&gt;. This will delete all data stored on the internal storage, even the Android system and completetly reinstall it.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
