Hello, in 2023 I bought Sony wf-1000xm5 headphones, I used them until today, I lost the right earbud, I bought new ones, I registered the new ones on the Sony website and I got a year of warranty extension, the question is whether I could buy separate insurance in case of loss

I don’t think Sony offer further insurance, however, if you do a search for gadget cover you should find several companies who may, might be worth looking for a comparison site if there is one..
