Problem with ring and message notification sound

After I got 39.2.A.0.417 I get intermittent problems with the ring signal and messages notification sounds. After a day or so my phone sometimes disable the ring volume, displaying an on crossed over bell when I look at the ring volume. Also, I have noticed that my phone I blinking for a new message but it never did make a sound when the mail/message came.

For the ring sound to work again I simple press up on the volume bottom. But the problem then cones back in an hour or 2. Also I with the message sound missing the only way I found to get it working again is to restart the phone. This also helps the ring sound volume problem then then works for another day or so before it disables the sound again. The funny thing with then ring volume is the bar is at 100% but the bell is crossed over.

I have tried to look around the different menus to find a clue to this. If something might have been a suspect I then simply tried to remove the setting.

did you check your DND settings?

does this happen when you are on safe mode?

Checked all possible settings including DND. But when the month changed to March it hasn't happen again. Very strange behavoiur.....

That's very strange but I am glad it is working for you again.

If you do experience it further please do let us know. safe mode as @nolramlb suggested is a good test to do if it does.
