Heating issues and battery drain Post software update

After a recent software update on Friday, my Xperia X is heating alot and battery drains quickly. Is it related to software update?
What changes were implemented in recent software update..
I never faced heat issue before this

Hi @Rutuja28, welcome to the community.

Sometimes, after you update your firmware the third party apps you have on your device may need to be updated to be optimised for the new version. The very first thing to do is to update all your apps.

If you are still experiencing the heating/draining issue, please start your phone in safe mode and see if it is still happening.
