I was wondering which quick charger to buy for my X Performance? Also there is no Buy link on Sony Accessories area. All the UCH 10s and 12s on eBay, are they really Sony when they say original Sony charger? Where can i, a Canadian, buy a genuine Sony quick charger. Also is there any damage to battery in doing this? Thank you. Absolutely love my X Per.

Its quite hard for me to buy Sony accessories in USA but I found myself quite comfortable in buying them on Amazon, that may be one place where to search for it.

About the possibility to damage the battery, no that isn't likely to happen. Qualcomm studied very well the system and they won't release a product unless they are sure is safe and suitable for every day usage. Mind also, if this can help, Sony will probably provide batteries for the upcoming Samsung S8... Both Xperia and Samsung Galaxy support quick charge however Samsung's explodes.. Sony won't explode haha.

@Emir or @CameronT any recommendation on whee to buy Xperia accessories other than Amazon?

I'm afraid that it's a bit difficult for me to recommend a retailer which may carry our chargers as I am not familiar with the Canadian market. My first recommendation would be to check our own E-store over at SonyMobile.com, but unfortunately we do not currently have one for Canada.

A good start would be the Canadian Local support team, they are well informed regarding the local market - and aside from that I would suggest local- and online retailers. If they don't carry it currently, perhaps they can get stock for you?

is uch12w charger ok with x performance? is it better than uch12 for this model? please help me, I want to buy one but I don't know which one is better. it is important for me to charge faster.

Hi @MohsenR,

Both UCH12 and UCH12W charge with the same speed, the difference is that UCH12W is meant for USB Type C models - but your Xperia X Performance uses microUSB, so if you wish to buy one then I recommend UCH12 for your device.
