File Browsing using Explorer (win10)

Hey.

I have a problem. When I connet my Sony Xperia X compact to my win 10 pc using a USB cable, I am not able to see all file and folders on the phone. This is the case for both Internal and SD storage.

If i create the folder in win10 i can se it on the phone. If i create the folder on the phone (fx using ASTRO) I cannot alway see it in win10. The same is the case for files... Somethimes I cannot see all the files in the folder using win10.

I have to zip files and move that zip file to a folder that I can see in win10, and then transfere the file.

Also some apps (fx lapseIt pro) will not allow you to save to some folders.

Can anyone helpe me with this?

Are the folders created by apps (not file commanders)?

I have tryed with different apps. The sony "downloads" app (that seems to be some kind of file browser/commander), astro (File Manager (File Explorer) by Astro, I would consider it to be a file commander) and other apps that I do not consider file commanders.

Thus depending on you defenision on file commanders it can be both a yes and a no. But I have tryed both.

One more thing, for some folders and files it can help to reboot the phone. After a reboot windows explore might see the folders and files.
