    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've a problem with my new Xperia X. After the first boot the Phone ask me to update, an start the update. All was ok, but after the update he ask me again to update. It's a loop, the phone continue to download and do the same update, in 24h I've updated 10 - 15 times.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How I can resolve the problem?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;SB&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have the same problem.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;After about 10 updates through Wi-Fi, I did update through PC (Windows) using Xperia Companion.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It doesn't help - I get the next update.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;SONY - Please help!!!!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Same case for me.. even after trying updating through PC... so I replaced it with &amp;nbsp;new one... and the same case is happening again! This is my first Sony Phone. and it is very frustrating that there is no reply from the support team till now.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/1062929"&gt;@YelenaK&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;and&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/1065077"&gt;@IbrahimHany&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you have tried to update with Xperia Companion but are still having this issue I would suggest performing a &lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/c-sonymobile/software+repair+using+Xperia+Companion/pd-p/software_repair_2" class="lia-product-mention" data-product="190-1"&gt;software repair using Xperia Companion&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;instead.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This will not only resolve a software issue in the handset if there is one, it will also update the device to the latest available software. This should stop the loop you are currently in.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Give that a go but make sure you &lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/c-sonymobile/backup/pd-p/Backup_transfer" class="lia-product-mention" data-product="193-1"&gt;backup&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;your device before doing the software repair as it will wipe your handset in the process&amp;nbsp;&lt;IMG class="lia-deferred-image lia-image-emoji" src="https://community.sony.lu/html/images/smilies/011.png" alt="Slightly_smiling_Face" title="Slightly_smiling_Face" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;its not a problem its how the phone handles the OTA update when making the transition from MM 6 to N 7. &amp;nbsp;read the screen it will tell you what part of the update or each loop as you call it will be downloading and installing &lt;SPAN class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":face_savoring_food:"&gt;&lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":face_savoring_food:"&gt;😋&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;it will stop when its finished and yes it will take a kazillion reboots ☺️ &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
