My phone registers the sd card or at least it did but now I can't see anything on it or transfer anything to it even though its inserted

Hi @26-98, welcome to the community.

Do you know what format the SD card is in? In order for your phone to use it, it will need to be in FAT32 or exFAT.

You can format the SD card under Settings > Storage > 3 dots > Advanced > SD card > 3 Dots > Settings > Format.

I'm having the same problem. I have a 128gb card in my phone, formatted to ExFat and my phone isnt detecting it. I've tried removing everything from the Micro SD and re-formatting it to both ExFat and FAT32 and neither works. When it is inserted I cannot find it under my phone's storage options or in my file manager. It used to work fine. Could this be a result of a recent update? The Micro SD works perfectly when inserted in to my laptop.
