Charging problem

I bought my xperia x in March and am already having charging problem with it. When I plug in it the normal way (ie. with a slight push), the port recognizes it but it does not charge. I have to either push it really hard or position the phone in different positions to try to start charging (and sometimes nothing seems to work...). It is very strange and difficult to explain. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like the connection is loose. To confirm if the issue is with the phobne or the cable, do you have another USB cable you can try charging this with?

Yes, I did, tried several cables (including Sony's original USB cable), but unfortunately the same issue. I think it's the port.

It does sound like the port @helloimvx. I recommend you contact your Local support team to arrange a repair assessment.

Is this covered under warranty? And if I send my phone in, how long will it take?
