Can't dismiss the notification that lifelong is running in background it should be thats fine.. But I can't get rid of the stupid icon. Please someone help

This. I've got 1-3 applications that run in the background 24/7 and it's fine, I don't need a notification about them but can do nothing about said notification. Annoying as....

It's Oreo feature, not Sony's problem. Google it and you'll find a solution:
