Can’t connect Sony Hx400 to iPhone

I’ve recently bought a Sony cybershot hX400v, i have downloaded the iPhone playmemories app, but the camera just says connecting but nothing actually connects or transfers?

could you please describe how you try to connect the camera with the iPhone in detail, maybe one step isn't explained very well in Sonys documentation, so if you describe what you do I might see why it doesn't work and forward it to Sony so they can improve the manual.

Also the App is now called Imaging Edge mobile, so I assume you don't have the latest version.

I have tried this with my new DSC-WX350 and it simply doesn’t connect. Having read the reviews on the Play Memories app it appears that I am not the only one experiencing these difficulties. Would welcome alternative instructions.

Hello @RP1064,

may I ask why you still use the "PlayMemories Mobile" App? It has been replaced by "Imaging Edge Mobile" some time ago.

Maybe that is the reason it doesn't work.
