The controls on the screen have stopped working. Tried recalibrating but still doesn't work, any ideas please

Hi colbee53, welcome to the Sony Forums

If neither touching the DISP/BATTINFO button nor calibration work you should try a reset: see p.63 of the manual. If the control buttons still don't appear it could be a malfunction, possibly an issue with the ribbon connector between camera body and screen.

An electronics repair shop may be able to help, or you could ask for advice from Sony customer service (details on this sticky)

Thanks for the welcome Mick & thanks for your advice.

Well after resetting & calibrating for the last 2 days just about giving it up for dead just tried again & its all back working ok :smileyconfused:. Don't ask what I did differently because I dont know. Thanks again for your reply.

Sadly the problems returned & after calibrating it again nothing, so there must be a fault somewhere :smileysad:. I've solved the problem a different way I've bought the PJ-260 VE great piece of kit used it only once so far results are superb :smileyhappy:.
