GPS works via connection to a minimum of three satellites in Earth orbit, so you do need to be located in an open, unobstructed place to be sure of accurate positioning.       <title>HDR-PJ260 gps</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;When i record a video i get in the left hand corner of the screen, just under the menu button some smal text saying: NO GPS SIGNAL. How do i fix this? I want the GPS to work, that was one of the big reasons i got this camera. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
