i AM TRYING TO REGISTER MY SONY PC . BEHIND THE MACHING THE MODEL NUMBER IS WRITTEN AS pcv-a1112m the sony help and registration does not recognise it such model does exxist i bought it few months ago . help

That is an invalid model type - it is a chassis designation and can be shared by several models.

You will find the correct model type: -

1. On the screen surround: -

2. In Control Panel -> Vaio Control Centre -> System Information. This is the best place to look as this will also give the correct Serial Number which you will need also.

3. In the BIOS screens. Tap F2 during startup.

The correct model will start VPC******
