NFC issues Vaio pro 13

Just bought a Sony vaio pro 13. Do i need to install a software to use NFC.

Tried sending a URL/picture from my Blackberry 9900 to the Vaio but it doesnt even detect it. I'm guessing the NFC is located on the touchpad.

It doesnt detect anything, not even a flinch. What am I doing wrong?

Any suggestions

Update: Okay it worked once. I managed to send a url and recieved a toast notification. But since than, I cant seem to get it to work again. The bb 9900 keeps playing a sound when tapped but the laptop doesnt detect anything. This is driving me crazy

My phone just says " Bring devices together again" and nothing on the laptop.

i have this problem : when i want to send picture to laptop i should just touch thethe touchpad and then the phone to beam picture or video or any file it says on my xperia z cannot send causecant send large files thru this kind a connection . i have all the time bluetooth and nfc on please help , i spent too much time for my wireless setting to get it right now another problem sony can you help ?
