This was following a full system restore after a bluetooth driver update from sony sorrupted the register. Light was not installed on the ful reinstall so I usef the recovery option. System error 505 popped up and Lightroom failed to recover. The answer is to reinstall again I am told. It seems that any problems involve a full system reinstall.
