Thanks Edwina , have tried the steps you recommended .However the TV set is not working, I will take it to a Sony service center .

I already have a xe9305 and was considering the xe 7073 for my bedroom but there seems to be so many problems with this model which runs Linux instead of Android for some reason that it not only limits the app choices but seems to also introduce numerous problems too. Should I just steer clear of this model or are there any good points?
