My ITV player has gone from my KD49X8309 TV. We used to have it until a week or so ago. Can anyone advise why?

I used to be able to get ITV player on my Sony bravia KDL-26EX553. However the widget seems to have disappeared off the list. I puposely didn,t record a serial I was unable to see at the time of broadcasting confident that I could watch it on catch up at a time convenient to me. Can you tell me how I can retrieve ITV player

(Hub) or download it some how

Unfortunately ITV Player was never available on your TV. Do you mean BBC iPlayer?

This TV doesn't support ITV, couldn't see any resources confirming this.
