How to BOOT your Xperia smartphone in SAFE MODE

In case you encounter different problems with the software or 3rd party apps on your device, a good tip to start troubleshooting is to boot your device in safe mode. How to do that is presented below:

1. From the home screen of your device, press the power button longer, until you reach step 2.

2. From the menu showing up, press longer on power off. This will bring you to step 3.

3. You are prompted about booting in safe mode, with the side note that 3rd party apps will be disabled.

Now you should be in safe mode and you can test different scenarios without 3rd party apps. To get back to normal mode, simply restart your device and everything should be back to normal.
