2x teleconverter compatibility

I have an a6300 with an E 4/16-70 ZA and an SEL 55 210. I would like to get a 2x teleconverter but I have read that the Sony FE 2x teleconverter is not suitable. Can anyone suggest a suitable teleconverter? Thanks, Jim
