Flashgun compatability
I have Sony's a9, a7iii, a7ii a7, a6300,a6000 cameras and wish to use flash. I have 2 Minolta flashguns as follows: 3600 HS program D, and 5600 HS program D and understand that these are identical to Sony's HVL-F36AM and HVL-F56AM respectively which as I understand it, can both be used on all of the above cameras when using the appropriate shoe adapter ADP-MAA
I don't want to try them incase they damage the cameras but also I don't want to spend hundreds of pounds if I don't need to.

To be honest, I haven't tried any of these flashes myself to tell if they'd work with your cameras properly. But I'd suggest that you use the recommended flashes by Sony for each camera using their Guide:
