Does anyone know how to turn-off the trailer channel of the above TV Set. Thank you, S. Annison

Hi there

I dont understand what you mean by 'trailer channel'?

The trailers begin as soon as I switch on the TV, and they go when the top box becomes active. The trailers are Google excerpts being advertised for rental purposes.

Good news! I have disabled the Google streaming channel by going to settings - appts - Google play - disable.

I believe you mean Google Movie/Disable. i wouldn't really suggest to disable Google Play.
