KD65A1 OLED screen has a couple of ripples
I had a new A1 OLED screen delivered on Saturday (2 days ago) and when I look at the screen from a side angle, I can see some ripples. They seem to be around the area that the rear stand/speaker actuators are attached. Is this normal or should my screen be completely flat and ripple free. I am not sure if this affects the picture, I will do some tests later but am considering rejecting the TV and having it replaced with a “ripple free” set.
Here is a reflection of a radiator on the screen, showing the ripple:

Thanks for the link.
I am not so sure that the question was 100% confirmed though, is there an actual statement from Sony or just one persons comments about the ripple/warping?

The text he quoted in his "solution" for the post was an official statement by Sony.

I experienced the same screen "ripple" issue with the XBR55A9F I ordered through Amazon. The box arrived visibly damaged so I can only assume the defects were introduced during shipment. Amazon is sending out a replacment no questions asked.
