Remote control 'TV' button switches to YouView aerial), how to switch to HDM1 instead?

I have found under Settings, External Input, you can configure the TV button, Howeve this function is greyed out and not selectable. How do I configure this to use HDMI1 input as default?

TV is SONY BRAVIA KD49XD8305BU

Hi there

This option is unavailable in YouView mode.  YouView would need to be disabled to use this feature. 

I have just tested to see if you could disable YouView, change the setting and then re-enable YouView again - unfortunately not, it goes back to the default 'Digital' input doing this.

Can you let me know how to disable YouView please - only got the set recently and havent navigated all menu's!

Hi there

To disable YouView

1. Press [Home] button on the remote control
2. Go to 'Settings'
3. Go to 'Channel Setup'
4. Go to 'YouView Setup'
5. Select 'Disable YouView'
6. Select 'Yes' to confirm
