sony bravia 55x9005cb red light flashing 4 times and cant switch on

i have a sony bravia smart tv 55x9005cb. it switched itself off and a flashing red light at bottom flashes 4 times. i have tried a factory reset but that doesnt seem to work. any suggestions ??

The set has self-diagnosed a fault, and needs service attention. Depending on its age and warranty status, this could involve a repair at a Sony Service Centre, or its replacement by the original retailer.

thank you - i have an extended warranty to next year ...will they come out and look at the tv ?

They will probably say ‘What Warranty?’ to start with.

But after that, they should come out; 55” isn’t a customer-returnable size.
