Welcome to the forum,

-----------------------------------------------------------
1. What you can do using this utility
From the main menu, the following can be selected and executed.
- Create recovery disc
- Start the Backup Software
- Recover your computer
2. What is recovery?
In order to restore computer hard disks to their factory default settings,
there are two types of recovery.
- Hard disk recovery
In your computer, files to recover software that are installed at purchase are stored in the "recovery area" of the hard disk. To recover your computer using data in this recovery area is called "hard disk recovery".
The recovery area cannot generally be seen on Windows.
- Recovery using a recovery disc
Using a "recovery disc", which you crate with this utility, it is also possible to recover your computer. In case operation of your computer becomes unstable or system data is corrupted, we strongly recommend creating a recovery disc in advance. By executing "system recovery" using a recovery disc, you can also delete the area that is secured on the hard disk as a recovery area and use all of the hard disk area as a C: drive or 😧 drive.
3. About the discs necessary to create recovery disc
Prepare a DVD-R (4.7 GB) or CD-R.
Depending on the type, DVD+R (4.7 GB) or DVD+R DL (8.5 GB)/DVD-R DL (8.5 GB) are also supported.
4. About backups
The standard backup software "Windows backup" of Windows Vista can be run.
Before executing recovery, backup important data.
For more details about "Windows backup", see "Windows help support".
5. About the [Options] menu
If you select [Options] in the main menu, the options menu is displayed.
The options menu is the menu for starting a tool for customer support.
Generally, you do not have to use this.
(Note)
In the options menu, the applications included with your computer can be installed individually.
However, depending on the condition of your computer, the status after individual installation many change from the default settings, and proper operation is not guaranteed.
6. Cautions
- Cautions about operation in recovery area
The recovery area is not generally seen in Windows. Also, data in the recovery area should not be lost through usual operation of your computer.
However, if you use commercially available special applications, which operate the hard disk area and change partition information of the recovery area, they may cause the hard disk recovery not to be executed.
Never perform any operation in the recovery area.
- Cautions about conversion to dynamic disk
Windows Vista has a function to convert the hard disk to a dynamic disk, but when you use this function, you cannot recover using the recovery area of the hard disk, due to limitations of the OS.
If you wish to convert to a dynamic disk, please be sure to create a recovery disc before conversion. By using a recovery disc, it becomes possible even for a hard disk that has undergone dynamic disk conversion to recover to its default settings.
However, in such cases, all data currently on the hard disk will be lost.
I think the question is not answered with this:
Sony will publish these drivers soon, than you can download them - I don't know a way how to extract the drivers out of the Recovery
Why not just burn the recovery discs?
The problem is, no drivers are available at the moment for my notebook
