Cant connect to smartphone

Recently tried to connect my RX10 II to my Android S8 smartphone so I could use my phone as a remote to capture birds close up while I am not in view, done this many times but this time it would just not connect no matter what I tried I can only think a phone update might have caused this, any ideas anyone please

have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the PlayMemories Mobile App?
