Hi halflife, some very nice pics there
In general it's not possible to use a cybershot camera to stream video (which is what a webcam does) because your PC will detect the USB connection as a data storage device and the lens will remain shut.
Cameras with an A/V port (usually handycams) are able to connect to PC-based analogue video terminals and sidestep the USB problem, but this isn't something the HX20V is set up to do.
Keep on shooting, that's what it does best
