DSC-HX400V lens failure

Had my camera just over a year and had no problem until now.  On turning the camera on I get message saying ‘turn off power and turn on again’.  The lens does not extend and there is a clicking noise.  Have turned camera on and off several times but no change.  I’ve taken battery out for a few minutes and put back but this didn’t work either.  Any help appreciated.

Can you check that you have inserted a charged battery pack in the camera, and then try turning the product on again?

Yes, battery fully charged.  Still not working unfortunately. Thanks for your help, I will have to contact support.
