DSC QX-10 Firmware Update

I have the DSC QX-10 which connects nicely to my iPhone.

I had a message to say there is a firmware update.

So I have conneted the lens to my computer with the USB lead and the amber light comes on.

I then press the shutter button and nothing happens.

I have updated this a couple of times but can't for the life of me remember if I'm doing it properly.

Can anyone please advise?

The latest firmware update listed for the QX10 is dated 14/4/14..

To avoid any element of doubt I thought it easier to post a link to the instructions on how to install the firmware update..
