So....DSC-RX100M3 just back from repair (expensive!) following water damage.
I insert the memory card (empty) and am told 'No space on the memory card'.
Any ideas?

Hello @sandieballantyne,
have you tried to format the card with a PC/MAC or tried a different card?
Memory cards which held any files at any time are never empty - if you delete a file, you just allow it to be overwritten and make it "invisible". It still can be, that the card is very full, even if you can't see any files when opening its directory.

Thank you again, Nic,
I cleaned it on my MAC and then re-inserted the card. Same message. THEN I realise that it is a Canon Memory card So the memory card for my Sony is AWOL.....
I have ordered a new memory card which will arrive today. I will let you know if it works (I expect it will).
Maybe I should stick to using the camera on my iPhone ! (but I think not)
Many thanks,
Sandie
