Firstly, i'm not quite sure if this is the correct area to post in.
I have a CDX-GT414U. All i'm wanting to do is play .mp3 files.
When I plug in a 16GB 2.0 Integral (apparently supported) I receive "USB ERROR" (Formatted to NTFS)
When I plug in my Iphone 5 using an official Apple cable i receive "USB ERROR"
Now i've looked through the manual and it explains that i could be due to:
- music protection (all my music plays on any other device)
- playback items can only be played via USB mass storage (well i bought a usb storage and that's the same issue)
- If a usb device does not work, reconnect it. (tried doing that for 7 hours on my journey)
Anyone else with this problem know any route around it?
