I have had the above since February. Just recently certain programmes that were due to be recorded were missed. When looking at the timer, they were still shown as due to be recorded even after the record time had passed. This does not apply to all programmes, only some.

I have the same problem with the SVRHDT 500.

I noticed last night that it was not recording when it should have been. Tried to get it to switch on but the blue light just kept flashing instead of being steady. Eventually decided to power off completely and switch back on. The recordings then started immediately - giving me 5 minutes of an hour programme!!

Other programmes that it had missed were still on the timer list.

I also sometimes have it refusing to operate after switch on - seems to do better if I switch on before the TV.

Any advice on these problems would be very helpful, especially as the on-line TV feature on the Bravia still does not do all channels!.

Hello

Recently my SVRHDT1000 has ceased recording programmes.

It appears to be because the machine thinks it is the wrong date (and therefore the programme isn't yet due for recording).

The machine varies which date it states but it is usually several years ago.

Has anyone else had this issue and, if so, is there a fix?
