How to connect a Humax Box to Tv

I have a Humax HDR-1800T set top box and I wanted to connect to my Sony KDL-42W653A Bravia TV using a scart cable but on checking I cannot see scart on the input list although there is a scart socket can someone explain why have a scart socket if there is no scart input all there is is TV,HDMI 1,HDMI 2 and AV  .What other method is there to connect mt set top box.

Hi,

Your TV is equipped with a Scart Input/output - see instructions:

So you just can connect your receiver to this input and select AV from the input menu to watch content from it.
