Hi, I have recently purchased a Sony TV 50W892 and have an issue with the motionflow selection. Options of "Clear" & "Clear plus" are deemed to be best for daytime & nightime viewing resp. On selecting the "Clear" option the picture goes dim compared to when its on Standard option. On selecting "Clear plus" it goes even dimmer. Is this expected? Adjusting other settings to compensate for this does not work. Can anyone please advise. Thanks, Gary

Hi, thanks for your info. Glad I'm not the only one that thinks the black
is an issue. Although I'm still undecided if i'm expecting too much on this
aspect because everything else on the picture quality is so good (on the
whole).
Good for you that you have benefits for your gaming, not something I do.
I have settled in now with the TV & unlike in the early days, I no longer
notice things anything I don't like. In fact its quite the opposite as I am
occasionally hit by a striking scene. However I still think I'll crank up
the contrast like you & see what happens.
