Allocating more system memory for use with Graphics Card

Hi I have just brought an AR51M, I have ordered 2 x 2Gb RAM modules from Crucial to upgrade the RAM to 4GB. I would like to allocate some of that RAM to be used by the Nvidia GeForce 8400GT 256mb graphics card, can anyone tell me how I go about doing it. Do I have to alter any settings in the BIOS.

Thanks
Firebod

Hi Firebod,

welcome to Club Vaio..

Your NVidia GPU is adaptive and will therefore increase the allocated video memory depending upon the amount your system requires..

This ensures the GPU is only using enough power as is necessary for the task at hand, which in turn should help prolong the battery life of your Vaio..
