Can't download programmes to my Vaio

Hi, I bought my Vaio laptop a couple of weeks ago. I am just about getting the hang of Windows 8, but I want to download some programmes (e.g ITunes) and it gets to 99% and then says the file is corrupt. This happens with any programme I try to download. Any ideas gratefully received.

I wonder if your firewall is blocking downloads?

What Anti-Virus Software do you have installed?

Hi,

It's Norton.  The laptop came with a free trial of McAfee, but I took that off and installed Norton instead.
