Compatible Ram Memory for Vaio VPCEB1S1E/BJ

Hello,

I own a VAIO VPCEB1S1E/BJ and I recently bought a Corsair memory kit 8GB DDR3 SODIMM at 1066MHz, labeled CM3X8GSDKIT1066.

My problem is that my vaio keeps restarting when i replace the old RAM with the memory kit.
Any thoughts about it? The kit and my old RAM have exactly the same specification.

Hi manolito1987,

We have had a number of reports on this forum of Corsair memory failing to work on Vaios. I suggest you return the memory and try Crucial.

Thanks for the quick response

The problem is that i can't return a product that is not faulty so I'm stuck with it.
It's a bit difficult to find these here in Greece, do you have any other alternatives to reccomend?

If the memory doesn’t work in your notebook then although possibly not faulty it is certainly incompatible.

I have only ever bought memory from Crucial as they guarantee compatibility. They will ship to Greece at a cost of GBP 14.00.
