Hi,
I am having problem connecting my Sony VAIO TZ series to the 02 network using the inbuilt GlobeTrotter modem.
Sony have confirmed the modem is not network specific and have told me for globe trotter to connect i need to get the relevant drivers from 02.
O2 have told me they don't support the VAIO and no drivers exist.
Option (GlobeTrotter) have told me its down to sony to support it
Has anyone go their VAIO to connect to the o2 network using the internal modem?
If so how did you manage it?
When I load Globetrotter the Sim is detected at 02 and give a full GPRS signal. but when i click connect i get the following error:
The connection has failed [0x8007026b]
The user name, password and APN are correct.
I don't want to resort to using the T-mobile sim as the tariffs is dearer than my existing tariff.
I have also tried the 02 connection manger but it make you select a 02 external datacard and doesn't give the option for the Option (Globetrotter) one.
Any help would be muchly appreciated
