Missing code SCSI RAID Controller
Hi all,
When I check the device manager on my VGN-FS485B Vaio, I can see a yellow exclamation marks next to the SCSI/Raid Controllers/ It shows: Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)
Please share your methods for this task, Thanks!!!

Welcome to ClubVAIO
Not seen this one before but we can have a crack at it.
In device manager right-click on the device with the triangle on it and click on update driver.
Click on "search automatically for updated driver software" (Make sure you are connected the internet before you do).
Hopefully it will find a new driver and install it and it'll all work fine
If not then try the other option "Browse my computer for driver software".
Now click on "Let me pick from a list of drivers on my computer"
Hopefully in the list the follows there will be a driver for. Install it reboot and it should be sorted.
Hope it works!

Hi Leo and welcome to Club Vaio.
I think you must have a program installed that has created Virtual Disc Drives?
Daemon Tools? If you have this, uninstall it and re-install.
Nero Virtual Drive? Just Uninstall it.
If you have both - uninstall BOTH and reinstall just one.
Let me know if this works. If not there is a Registry Fix for Code 39 Errors - I don't know if it will work in this case but if the reinstall doesn't work we can give it a go!!

Hi Blencogo,
Thanks for your help! That 's great!
I have found the program "Daemon Tools" installed in my notebook.
I deleted all components of this program.
I have Nero but not Virtual .
What will happen if I don't re-install anyone?
What should I do?
Thanks for your reply

Just uninstall Daemon Tools and reinstall it again and it should be fine. The latest version of Daemon Tools is here

........... or don't bother to reinstall Daemon Tools if you don't use the program.
Has the warning gone away in Device Manager?
